Granddaughters Home Care is looking for a passionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Advanced Foot Care training to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN who values autonomy, meaningful client relationships, and the chance to make a real difference in the community.

In this role, you will provide professional foot care services, complete client assessments, and support ongoing foot care appointments for clients in their homes throughout South Calgary. You'll collaborate closely with our Clinical Care Specialist and Care Experience Manager, while also having direct visibility and support from our CEO.

This position offers flexible casual/part-time/on-call hours, making it ideal for LPNs seeking supplemental income, work–life balance, or a rewarding shift away from facility-based care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver advanced foot care services to clients in their homes and community settings

  • Complete initial client visits and assessments, building trust and creating personalized care plans

  • Manage follow-up appointments and scheduling through our AlayaCare system

  • Follow all clinical, infection control, and OH&S protocols; escalate concerns as needed

  • Ensure proper sterilization of foot care tools and equipment

  • Partner with the Clinical Care Specialist and Care Experience Manager to enhance care quality and client experience

  • Document all care accurately and efficiently in AlayaCare

  • Support caregiver and client education related to foot care, personal care, and health promotion

  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold exceptional professional standards

Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted LPN license

  • Advanced Foot Care training with FCN designation (recognized by CLPNA)

  • Minimum 2 years' experience completing foot care assessments and providing direct client care

  • Strong ability to work independently, confidently, and within a collaborative team

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Solid knowledge of healthcare regulations, best practices, and safety standards

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
