**About Us**:
The STEAM Project is a one of a kind children and youth program provider. Our mission is to give kids hands-on activities in science, technology and design that would generally not otherwise be available to them. Whether it be 3D printing, robotics, wood shop and more, our kids are constantly designing, building, and innovating. We run year-round classes and workshops as well as summer and holiday camps.

**Job Overview**:
This position will take place **in-person** at our Makerspace in Richmond Hill.
- Is able to work independently and learn quickly
- Is comfortable working on marketing projects alone
- Has strong communication skills to work with a team to gather information, receive feedback, and make revisions
- Is organized and detail-oriented
- Has a good eye for colour, composition and design

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create promotional materials
- Manage and maintain the company's social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, Google My Business)
- Conduct market research and analysis to inform marketing initiatives
- Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics
- Support the organization of events and trade shows
- Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the marketing team

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 3-5 years of marketing experience, with a focus on digital marketing
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for marketing content
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing automation tools
- Previous experience managing a business social media account

**Considered an Asset**:

- Familiarity with graphic design software
- Experience with photography/videography and editing
- Experience building and managing website (Wordpress)
- Previous camp or recreation experience

**Additional Requirements**:

- Standard First Aid with CPR-HCP (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license
- Vulnerable Sector Screening Check (upon hire)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Richmond Hill, ON L4C 9W6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
