We are looking for an experienced part-time accounts receivable specialist to play a key role in our Corporate Services division. You will assist our accounting team, by taking the lead on accounts receivables. As a member of our shared services team, this role will support our busy accounting team. **What you will be doing**:

- Driving collection activities for accounts that are 60+ days.
- Documenting, following up, and ensuring payments are received.
- Timely resolution of escalated collection issues, including ensuring accurate customer information is maintained.
- Completing account reconciliations as required.
- Partnering with the finance team to support collections/escalation activities as required to ensure a timely resolution.
- Reconciles the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verifies discrepancies and resolves clients’ billing issues with assistance from our team.
- Answers all accounts receivable related phone calls and follows up on inquiries.
- Prepare reports and ensure internal stakeholders are aware of status and potential risk areas.
- Other duties as assigned to support the Accounting team in reducing overall receivables

**What You Will Bring**:

- Minimum 3-5 years’ collections or receivables experience
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to problem solve escalated situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills, specifically with Sales and External Customers
- Strong organization and time management skills, with demonstrated success managing multiple priorities.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel. Working knowledge of SAP is an asset.
- Strong team player

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
