**Job Overview**

We are looking for a creative and passionate Florist to join our team at Flower Gallery. As a Florist, you will be responsible for designing and creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday celebrations. Your artistic talent and strong customer service skills will play a key role in delivering exceptional experiences to our clients while contributing to the success of our historic retail environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and create floral arrangements based on customer preferences and specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with selections and offering expert floral care advice.
- Manage the inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring all products are fresh and of the highest quality.
- Process sales transactions accurately, including handling cash.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are in proper order.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Stay updated on current floral trends and techniques to deliver innovative floral solutions.

**Compensation**
- Wage will be discussed during the interview process.
- After the probation period (3 months), salary reviews will take place after the first, third, and fifth year. Beyond the fifth year, you can request a wage discussion when necessary, along with a list of your performance records.
- While you may express your desired wage, salary adjustments will be made based on your current performance in the role.

**Requirements**:

- Flexibility, strong work ethic, and excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency in floral arrangement techniques that preserve the freshness of flowers and minimize time spent on each arrangement (approximately 15 minutes per arrangement).
- Ability to create voluminous arrangements—no flat designs.
- Ability to adopt and replicate existing product styles.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a florist.
- A portfolio showcasing your floral designs is mandatory.
- Resume and cover letter with availability are required.
- Must be available to work on weekends.
