Head Florist

**Overview**

What we are looking for...
- **Design Leadership**: Create stunning floral arrangements for various events, including weddings, corporate functions, and special occasions, while setting creative standards for the design team.
- **Team Management**: Supervise and mentor a team of florists and assistants, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- **Client Consultation**: Meet with clients to understand their floral needs, provide recommendations, and ensure that their vision is achieved.
- **Project Management**: Oversee the planning and execution of floral projects, including budgeting, timelines, and logistics.
- **Vendor Relations**: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to source high-quality flowers and materials at competitive prices.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage costs while minimizing waste.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure that all floral designs meet the company’s quality standards and are completed on time.
- **Market Trends**: Stay updated on floral design trends, techniques, and seasonal availability of flowers to bring innovative ideas and arrangements to the team.
- **Event Setup**: Lead the setup and breakdown of floral arrangements at events, ensuring the design is executed as planned.
- **Time management**: Ensuring that you manage the team effectively to complete tasks in a timely manner. Managing your time to be at work and ready as of the time you are scheduled to be able to manage the other employees.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**: Ensure that all operations comply with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- **Forecast needs**: for production and work with the team to effectively plan the work as needed.

We have built a dynamic and wonderful team over the past 18 years and are now looking to put the cherry on top with a new head florist/creative director.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
