Are you an experienced florist with strong leadership skills and an eye for design? Tonic Blooms, Toronto’s premier on-demand florist, is seeking a dynamic Florist Manager to lead our design team and ensure the seamless operation of our bouquet production.

**Responsibilities**:
Operations:

- Collaborate with the Co-Founder to set daily production targets and maintain a healthy work environment
- Manage flower inventory using FIFO (first in, first out) to uphold uncompromising quality standards
- Conduct accurate daily inventory counts and create production plans, ensuring the team meets goals
- Work closely with the supply head to monitor deliveries and adjust inventory as needed
- Complete pre-launch checklists, ensuring departments are informed, and stock is ready before product launch
- Inspect product quality, report sellouts, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Leadership and Coaching:

- Motivate and coach our talented florist team to reach their full potential
- Communicate constructively and respectfully, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture where 1+1=3
- Lead by example, always teaching and setting high standards for design and customer satisfaction
- Assist in the interviewing, onboarding and training processes for new hires

Design and Quality:

- Meticulously execute all aspects of design, aligning with Tonic Blooms' aesthetic
- Optimize designs for aesthetics, deliverability, operational efficiency, pricing, and overall customer experience
- Adapt to supply, quality, or cost feedback, ensuring sensible substitutions while maintaining design integrity
- Coordinate and facilitate floral design sessions with the team, collaborating with co-founder on testing new product designs for website

**Requirements**:

- 5 years experience in the floral sector is preferred, ideally in a production environment
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking
- Strong leadership skills with a can-do attitude to project on the team
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and adapt to any unforeseen circumstances that may arise
- Team management or similar responsibilities in e-commerce or Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector preferred
- Experience in Google Suite and Shopify is a plus
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Ukrainian, Russian, or Chinese is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to handle difficult conversations with a calm and professional demeanour
- Enthusiasm for knowledge and understanding of the Tonic Blooms brand as well as continuous learning and building a positive team culture

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$64,000.00 per year
