We are currently looking for an Showroom Sales Executive / Administrative Assistant to join our Team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for handling various tasks related to the administrative support of the showroom and daily activities with a focus on Customer service. As the Showroom Sales Executive, you will be responsible in presenting our products to the customer in the showroom, close the deal and make the sale.
**Your duties in this role will include, but not limited to**:

- Scheduling Estimations and keeping Customer Database updated
- Calculating basic quotes for the projects (mostly rough estimates over the phone)
- Assisting Sales People and Project Managers with the Schedule and Project setups
- Assisting walk-in Customers in the showroom when other team members are on estimations and job sites.
- Sell Flooring Products to walk in customers
- Taking care of light bookkeeping duties (sorting receipts, processing payments, preparing invoices, etc)
- Maintaining a good level of knowledge about flooring and our services
- Maintaining showroom's sample system
- Following up on Customers requests
- Preparing short posts and informational articles, some copy writing
- Assisting other team members as needed
- Follow up Customer payments
- Order Office Supplies and Inventory
- Arrange work schedules if needed
- May need to do some site visit (within Metro Vancouver only) if necessary especially for Chinese customers who cannot speak English.

**Basic requirements for the role**:

- Preferably able to speak English and Mandarin Chinese fluently. Preferably able to read and write Chinese.
- At least 1 Year of experience relating to customer service, office management, bookkeeping or similar backgrounds
- At least 1 Year experience in retail sales executive.
- Must have BC Driver's License and own a car
- Must have good selling skills
- Must be organized and able to work independently
- Ability to courteously answer telephone calls and write business correspondence
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate numerical data as well as calculate figures and amounts. Good math skills.
- Proficient in Word, Excel and familiar with Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Mail
- Working experience in flooring industry or construction industry is a huge asset but not necessary as we can provide training.

**Compensation**:

- Salary - Starting from $16 per hour (depending on experience) plus commission (Base plus commission)

**Job Type**: Full Time
- Company Name: Crown Flooring and Construction (DBA BC Floors)
- Location: 4954 Victoria Drive, Vancouver, BC, V5P 3T6
- Working Hours: 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday, 11am to 4pm Saturday

**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
