Real Estate Law Clerk

**Work experience**:
- Minimum of 2 or more years work experience in a law office as a clerk.
**Job duties / Skills requirements**:
- Managing and completing commercial purchase and mortgage files from start to finish
- Preparing residential real estate files - purchases, sales, refinances and private mortgages
- Maintaining organized files within a high paced environment
- Preparing and reviewing bank documents
- Drafting and coordinating necessary documents required for closing
- Organizing and coordinating of files and closings
- Conducting and reviewing title searches, off-title searches and drafting requisitions
- Registration of documentation in Teraview and Unity
- Preparing reporting letters and accounts to clients, promptly following completion of files
- Handling all other work related to a high-paced law firm.
**Qualifications**:
- Must have experience in all forms of real-estate files - purchases, sales, mortgages and refinancing.
- Strong technical skills in Unity, Teraview, eCore, Assyst, and Microsoft Word & Outlook.
- Handling a high volume of files in a proficient and efficient manner.
- Being able to perform title searches and all relevant correspondence searches in detail.
- Excellent oral and writing skills in English, bilingual language skills are an definite asset
**Salary**: TBD based on experience
