**Summerhill Market is looking for a Bakery Packaging Team Lead to join our Bakery Production Kitchen team at our Rosedale location.**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
The Bakery Packaging Team Lead will support the day-to-day operations of the packaging department within our high-volume production kitchen. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and a passion for food quality.
- Leading and supporting a team of approximately 15 packagers in the daily execution of bakery packaging operations
- Ensuring all products are properly labeled, presented, and packaged according to company standards
- Monitoring product quality and consistency, identifying and correcting issues in real-time
- Assisting in workflow planning to ensure daily production targets and shipping timelines are met
- Collaborating with the Bakery Management team and the Senior Team Lead on order fulfillment and team scheduling
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and food-safe work environment, upholding HACCP and health & safety practices
- Providing guidance, coaching, and accountability to team members to promote a productive and positive team dynamic
- Assisting with onboarding and training of new packaging staff
- Leading by example to uphold Summerhill Market values and quality standards

**Skillset Requirements**:

- 1-2 years of experience in a food production or packaging environment (required)
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration ability
- Passion for high-quality food and presentation
- High attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization
- Able to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less
- Ability to work in cooler environments and enter freezers as required
- Available for flexible scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handlers Certification considered an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
