We are currently seeking a **Bakery Packager** to join our **Bakery Production Kitchen team**, located above our Rosedale store. This is an exciting opportunity for a food-focused, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in high-quality presentation and packaging.

**Position Summary**:
The Bakery Packager is responsible for overseeing the final stages of food production—specifically packaging, labeling, and preparing products for distribution to our retail locations. This role works closely with the logistics, kitchen, and retail teams to ensure products are ready for sale and delivered on time.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Package and label a wide variety of bakery items for retail sale across Summerhill Market locations
- Receive and fulfill store and wholesale orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain thorough production records and documentation
- Work with the logistics team to coordinate timely delivery and distribution of packaged goods
- Prepare and fill wholesale orders with attention to quality and presentation
- Follow order sheets and execute production plans accurately
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any supply or product shortages
- Assist with inventory and ordering of packaging supplies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including Toronto Public Health regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper storage of supplies
- Collaborate with the Lead Packager and support the team as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management

**Credentials & Requirements**:
**Skills**:

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in both refrigerated and warm environments
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of food handling and kitchen safety best practices

**Education & Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a kitchen, production facility, or food packaging environment
- Food Handlers Certification required
- High school diploma preferred
- Familiarity with inventory control or food tracking systems considered an asset
