We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Learning and Development Project Specialist to join our People team in Langley, BC.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of learning projects and programs from analysis through implementation and maintenance.- Leading learning projects in collaboration with Instructional Designers when needed.- Facilitating content in both a classroom and virtual environment.- Participating in organizational learning needs analysis.- Working with stakeholders to design and develop learning solutions that are just-in-time, engaging and interactive for adult learners in areas including operational training and leadership development.- Designing and evaluating the effectiveness of learning solutions using adult learning principles.- Ensuring training materials are clear, concise, consistent, and instructionally sound.- Serving as an advocate for the learner in recommending and developing learning solutions.- Sourcing and analyzing “off-the shelf” learning and development products.- Maintaining networks and partnerships with vendors, service providers, and educational institutions.- Remaining current in learning and e-learning solutions.
You have:
- A Provincial Instructor’s Diploma or Adult Education certification.- 3+ years of experience leading large-scale learning and development projects.- 5+ years of direct learning solutions design and development experience ideally within a retail, customer-centric organization.- Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and content creation developing various types of learning including e-learning, face-to-face, and video.- Intermediate proficiency with authoring tools such as Articulate 360.- Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

- Able to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.- Experienced in virtual and face-to-face facilitation methods.- An exceptional communicator both verbal and written.- A strategic, analytical, and critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.- Able to promote collaborative relationships at all levels in the organization with demonstrated interpersonal skills.- Able to champion change and foster a culture of learning.

Compensation Details:
$81,920.00 - $102,400.00
The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
