**Junior Accounts Payable Admin**

**Location**:Oakville, ON Head Office

Reporting to the _Manager, Billing & Collections _the_ Jr. AR Admin _is responsible for providing effective administration of the Accounts Receivable function, as well as support the Finance Team to meet/exceed company objectives of costs, quality, time and safety. Perform all duties and responsibilities in an organized manner and in accordance with our company's values and beliefs.

**What will you do as an Accounts Payable Administrator?**
- Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
- Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions
- When required, research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the Collections Manager and other staff
- Collaborates with the Collections Manager to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic (at least monthly) basis
- Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed
- Relays changes of information to appropriate employees
- Performs other related duties as assigned

**Do you have the Spark? Here's what we are looking for**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; working towards Associates or bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
- At least one years of related experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
