As the **Operations Coordinator**you will provide administrative and operational/procedural support for all functions within the branch relating to the ordering, facilitation, and movement of all products in and out of the branch.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Support and be a resource for Inside Sales and Showroom within the Branch, as well as fellow Team Members from other Branches.
- Orders all non-tile (accessory) product from Ames’ vendors, including filling back orders and resolving product discrepancies
- Maintaining optimal inventory (min/max) levels.
- Ensure inventory returns are processed timely, faulty items are quarantined and claims sent to suppliers as needed with tracking to ensure credit received back to Ames.
- Manage the day-to-day product transfer processes and filter to one, back-order fulfilment to ensure proper stock levels are maintained at all times.
- Double-checking inbound/outbound orders to ensure ship confirm and billing accuracy.
- Investigate and reconcile (GL) freight invoices and waybills ensuring Ames is charged correctly for all orders, and freight relating to deliveries and returns.
- Point person to ensure product is transferred and arrives to branch when promised and as required.
- Ordering Branch supplies and materials as needed.
- Assist with organizing branch meetings and events.
- Correct and input any product quantity variances in Ames’ ERP system.
- Pricing change and creating price books also setting up discount pricing on new accounts.
- Improve and maintain process efficiencies within the branch and with inter-branch communication and logistics.
**Who You Are**:
- 2-5 years previous experience in an Administrator role.
- Post secondary education in Administration, Business, or another related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Proficient with a Windows computer environment.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to multi-task.
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Effective time management skills.
- Highly motivated and committed with a desire to succeed.
- Exceptional communication, and relationship-building skills.
**Bonus**:
