**What Will You Do?**
- Service and inspection of all Erb trailers, trucks and tractors. Must co-ordinate with operations and the Shop Supervisor as to the availability of trailers, trucks and tractors.
- Repairs trucks, trailers and equipment as required by the Shop Supervisor.
- Document all repairs in TMT the maintenance computer system. Fill out appropriate inspections sheets when required in a timely fashion.
- Answers departmental calls and make decisions regarding breakdowns, repairs. Communicate with the Shop Supervisor regarding equipment breakdowns on the road and major repairs when required.
- To have the knowledge of all tools and equipment needed to repair Erb equipment.
- To repair any components of the trailers, trucks or tractors in the fleet.
- To assist in property maintenance and cleaning of shop when required.
- Move equipment in and out of shop when required.
- As required complete the necessary documentation for annual safety inspections.
- When necessary, ability to road test vehicles.
- Communicate with dispatch on a daily basis to prioritise availability of equipment and any no-go equipment.
- Follow shop procedures and company policies relating to use of shop and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
- All other duties as assigned.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES**:

- Occasional supervision of staff when required.
- Required apprenticeship teaching, training and coaching.
- Technical / speciality areas of repairs and maintenance.
- Interact with Drivers and Vendors as required.
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment.

**Who Are We Looking For?**
- Two (2) years of experience in repairs of heavy equipment including experience using electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Fully certified and licenced (Class 310T Truck and Coach Licence).
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office, TMT).
- Ability to lead a team and organizational skills.
- Ability to remain calm in demanding times.
- Positive attitude with proven people skills.
- Honest, diplomatic and trustworthy.
