As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a hands-on, forward-thinking **Warehouse Manager** to lead our warehouse operations and support our mission of excellence and adventure.
**Position Summary**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and mentor warehouse staff, including Co-Leads and temporary workers, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement based on the Level Six employee handbook.
- Oversee and ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of online, drop-ship, and dealer orders (24 h and 48 h standard), maintain high QCs for inbound/outbound shipments.
- Maintain and improve systems for receiving, inspecting, and storing inbound inventory.
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and regular reconciliations.
- Oversee warehouse organization and cleanliness, ensuring safety and compliance at all times.
- Collaborate with the financial controller and operations team to ensure proper documentation for shipping, exports, and vendor requirements.
- Manage returns, repairs, warranty items, and restocking processes with a focus on minimizing financial loss.
- Analyze warehouse processes to identify inefficiencies, waste reduction opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain proper use of ERP and shipping software, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
- Forecast warehouse needs based on seasonal cycles and support planning for future capacity.
- Train and support new and temporary staff in warehouse procedures and safety practices.
- Order and maintain supplies required for daily warehouse operations.
**Requirements**:
- 7+ years of experience in warehouse operations, including 3+ years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of shipping practices (domestic and international), warehouse procedures, and inventory management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and shipping platforms.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.
**Assets**
- Experience in the outdoor, adventure, or watersports industry.
- Familiarity with export documentation and international shipping regulations.
- Lean Warehousing Principles or Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) training or experience.
