- Leads the team through day-to-day functions;
- Models positive behaviour and outlooks for the team to emulate;
- Aid in filling the designated Associates/hygiene schedule;
- Handling patient calls and inquiries about appointments, confirmations, changes and cancellations;
- Verifying and updating any patient information;
- Daily/weekly confirmation calls and follow-up calls to patients booked in the doctor’s schedule;
- New patient interviews and patient relations;
- Efficient patient flow and the handling of any situation which is slowing down or stopping the flow;
- Providing Case Presentations with patient, and present fees over the phone or in person;
- Addressing patient concerns and problem solve the matters that arise;
- Directing and managing all predetermination’s and scheduling of appointments for appointed doctors;
- Discussing insurance break-downs with patient;
- Form payment plans and implement financial agreements with patients;
- Processing referral letters and other patient-related correspondence;
- Documenting all discussed with patients in Abel Dent;
- Organize daily morning huddles and schedule monthly team meetings by liaising with Regional to update notes;
- Organize internal referrals and be aware of specialties within the corporation;
- Maintain AR within the guidelines and communicate with the business coordinators. Then provide it to the regional manager for approval on write offs and financial adjustments;
- Provide training to front desk team on our policies and front desk process;
- Financial arrangements for patients within the guidelines given and anything above and beyond that to be approved by the regional; and
- Other tasks as assigned.
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42 per week
