Capilano Animal Clinic is a small animal veterinary practice located in east Edmonton. We are looking for a fulltime **Clinic Manager** to join our talented team to be responsible for clinic operations and be a direct manager to all clinic staff.

The responsibilities and duties of a clinic manager include:

- General manager of clinic operations, including organization, inventory, staff scheduling.
- Direct manager of all clinic employees (day-to-day tasks, performance, career growth, benefits, WCB)
- Problem solving for the staff so that they can focus on doing their best work in their respective areas of expertise.
- Representative of the clinic to external vendors.
- Single point of escalation for both staff members and clients.
- Hiring and onboarding of new staff
- A degree or diploma in a field related to healthcare and/or veterinary medicine.
- 5+ years in an administrative environment, preferably with management experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- A natural problem solver

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Work Location: One location
