**About the Opportunity**:
Under the direction of the Head of the Department of Urology, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Head by effectively coordinating the day-to-day operation of the office. The position coordinates all administrative activities, establishes administrative procedures and guidelines and acts as a liaison with the other administrative assistants in the Department. This position is responsible for supporting other management team members on occasion.
**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Post-Secondary diploma in a recognized office administration, business administration or secretarial program is required. Undergraduate degree is an asset.
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience, providing administrative support and office coordination at the executive level, preferably within healthcare (Equivalent combination of training and experience may be acceptable)
- Experience with and excellent knowledge of office practices and procedures
- Experience managing calendars, filing, collecting data, compiling statistical information and assisting with report preparation
- Knowledge of hospital and university administrative procedures an asset
- Excellent organizational ability, ability to work and communicate with people with courtesy, efficiency and tact
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision or direction
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and work independently
- Experience working with a high level of discretion and confidentiality
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

$23.78 - $29.73 Hourly
