Refer to the "How to apply" section if you require a disability-related accommodation. **What can I expect to do in this role?**: **Work Description** As a Fire Assistant, you may have the opportunity to work on some or all of the following activities: - Assist with information management in support of planning, media relations, promotions, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), fire and emergency response programs delivery. - Help with equipment maintenance and repair, conduct warehouse and inventory duties, and support science and technology projects related to the fire program. - Aid with resource management programs by travelling with staff on field trips to conduct surveys, data collection, mapping, inspections, and interviews. **Note**: You may be required to work outdoors. **How do I qualify?**: **Mandatory**: You must meet **all** eligibility criteria by the first day of employment (contracts begin between May and July): - **Age**: You must be a minimum of 15 years of age.
