- This position would requires Manual Machining experience and interested in learning CNC programing and operation of CNC Lathes and Mill.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop expertise in product knowledge
- Responsible for accurate machining of high quality machined parts.
- Ability to read Micrometers, Calipers and other machinist measuring tools.
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings.
- Daily meetings with Production leader to keep updated on manufacturing issues.

**Job Requirements**

**Education/Experience**:

- Required to have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Registered or willing to register into Machinist Apprentice program
- Excellent verbal skills to communicate with Co-workers and supervisors regarding technical issues. Ability to read and interpret blueprints specifications.
- Strong skills and working knowledge
- Experience with Mazatrol (Preferred but not required)

**Mathematical Skills**:

- Strong mathematical skills to perform and understand machinist calculations as it relates to materials as well as a basic mechanical aptitude.

**Attitude**:

- Must display a positive attitude in dealing with supervisors and co-workers
- Have open lines of communication with team members. Demonstrate professionalism in dealing with co-workers.

**Physical Demands & Work Environment**:

- Must be able to work from Calgary facility.
- Possible lifting of heavier items, bending, kneeling and stretching.
- Fast paced office environment with artificial lighting.
