**Journeyman Machinist - Bring Precision to Power at Exchanger Industries**

At **Exchanger Industries Limited**, we don’t just manufacture parts—we build the backbone of energy and industry. Our Machinists are critical to our success, and we’re looking for a Red Seal-certified craftsman (or someone on the path there) who’s ready to make an impact.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Turn blueprints into reality using CNC horizontal and vertical machines with Fanuc controls
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines with precision and confidence
- Keep things running smoothly with quality checks, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance
- Perform accurate measurements using micrometers, Verniers, telescopic gauges—you know the drill
- Hoist, rig, and move material like the shop-floor pro you are
- Crush deadlines without compromising on craftsmanship

**What You Bring**:

- Alberta **Red Seal Journeyman Machinist** certification (or actively working toward it)
- Solid knowledge of CNC programming and machining codes
- Experience in a **heavy industrial** manufacturing setting
- Ability to work independently and solve problems on the fly
- Strong understanding of 2D/3D technical drawings
- Safety mindset and team spirit
- Your own tools (e.g., 12” Vernier, micrometers, telescopic gauges)

**The Shop Life**:

- This is a boots-on-the-floor, hands-on role in a **fabrication-heavy environment**:

- PPE is standard. So is standing, kneeling, and the occasional 50 lb lift
- You may need to work at heights, wear a respirator, or get cozy in confined spaces
- Shift work may rotate depending on production needs
