Glenmore Machining and Supply Ltd, an established Machining shop in Calgary's SE, has immediate openings for skilled Manual Machinists. In this role, you will support our production team to manufacture downhole tool parts. If you like staying busy and physically active, you maintain attention to safety and cleanliness in the workplace, and deliver quality work within given deadlines, we want to hear from you.

We are currently hiring manual machinist for a Monday to Friday day-shift. GMS offers an enjoyable work environment with competitive wages and benefits. Full benefits after 3 months of employment.

Main duties include:

- Measure, examine parts to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers.
- Performs routine maintenance tasks on machines as required.
- Select the appropriate tools, machines, to be used in preparation of machinery work.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years experience as a manual machinist.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have own tools.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.

Shifts:

- MON to FRI Day-shift 8 hrs (6:30 am - 3:00pm)

**Salary**:

- Negotiable, based on experience.
