Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Machinist at our Calgary, AB location. The Machinist will be responsible for operating machining tools to produce precision parts, interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, setting up and maintaining machines, and ensuring parts meet quality standards. The Machinist will collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and ensure a safe and efficient work environment while adhering to deadlines and project specifications.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in operating and maintaining machining tools, equipment, and CNC machines
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately
  • Experience with quality control, precision measurement tools, and inspection techniques
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving related to machinery and production processes
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulatory standards
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is preferred
  • Certification or training in machining, manufacturing, or a related field is an asset
  • Proficiency with Gibbs cam or other cam software
