It’s an exciting time to be part of the Give & Go team and we want you to be a part of our extraordinarily bright future We are currently looking to hire a detail-oriented **Purchasing Intern/Co-op **student.

**Please note that this is a 4-month contract targeted to Supply Chain students who are** **pursuing a career in procurement.**

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Purchasing team with administrative tasks, ongoing project work and participate in compliance related communications/creation of training packages/execution activities to support compliance.

**Location**:

- Head Office - 15 Marmac Drive, Etobicoke, ON
- Hybrid 1-2x per week in office

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support on a variety of ongoing initiatives within the Purchasing department.
- Some projects may include the development of training packages for compliance training, process workflows, category documentation.
- Assist the Purchasing Team in performing administrative tasks which can include price discrepancies, pricing updates, Supplier contact updates, and data gathering for project support.
- Provide support/updates upon request, aiding in the process meeting targets and objectives.
- Support Supplier Innovation Process roll-out which will include interviewing key internal customers for needs assessment.
- Attend regular Purchasing meetings when necessary and requested, providing updates on the status of projects and initiatives.
- Follow company’s health and safety program, rules and procedures and work in compliance with health and safety-related legislation and codes.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in or has completed a Engineering or Purchasing/Supply chain or a related post-secondary program.
- Previous experience learning Supply Chain/Engineering in an educational institution.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be able to meet project deadlines, with good sense of urgency and follow through.
