**Job Summary**:
Manage contract administration, technical buyers’ and shipping & receiving team
Reports to the General Manager/Operations Director or his/her designee
**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Ensure consistency and compliance in proposals, shipping documents and commercial invoices as well as compliance to Quality Management System (QMS) procedures
- Coach team to achieve best procurement practice
- Act as the single point of contact for incoming parts queries
- Assign purchasing and logístical resources to fulfil parts orders, capital and major project requirements.
- Attend to customer procurement / supply concerns and strive to boost overall customer satisfaction and preservation.
- Responsible for overseeing commercial agreements with vendors / suppliers, coordination with legal as well as business stakeholders to establish and negotiate key terms for contracts
- Negotiate contract-price, contract terms and deadlines with vendors/suppliers
- Manage efficient flow of goods for optimum supply/integration.
- Ensure received purchase orders’ scope and terms and conditions alignment to existing and new customer contracts.
- Expand the Approved Vendor List, ensuring vendor / supplier options are available, consolidating demand, setting up contract pricing and preferred relationships, as well as consolidate shipping
- Drive and maintain a constant improvement mind set
- Ensure adherence to contractual clauses and terms, including documentation, payment, invoicing, bonds, letter of credits, insurance and applicable terms and conditions.
- Accountable for On Time Delivery (OTD) for products and services and margins retention.
- Conform to quality and health safety requirements at all times and promote the highest standards among supply chain and subcontractors.
- Manage risks identified, assess impact on project/s and develop suitable response plans.
- Provide status and key performance indicators reporting to senior management.
**Education and / or Experience**:
- Preferably graduate Business Education (focus on supply chain and purchasing management) with strong procurement management practice/s
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar roles
- Exceptional team, organizational and communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
- Reading and writing proficiency in Spanish is advantageous
**Competencies**:
- Experience in procurement management in equipment manufacturing environment
- Working Knowledge of Industry and current market conditions
- Negotiation and Conflict resolution skills
- Experience in contract management and respective commercial terms and conditions.
- Working experience with MS Office suite and project scheduling tools
- Familiarity in the implementation and use of ERP systems
- Provides leadership to internal and external procurement teams
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the organization.
