Administrative Receptionist

This position focuses heavily on internal support for healthcare practitioners. Essential is excellent customer service, honesty, task-flexibility, self-motivation, and a positive attitude.
**Hours required: Tuesday and Thursdays daytime and evening shifts, and some weekend days (additional hours may be available to cover vacation and illness)**
- Interacting with primary customers (greeting, supplying information about products and services, ensuring customer comfort, checking clients in and out for treatments)
- Washing, drying, folding laundry
- Ensuring all clinic areas are clean and tidy (cleaning washroom, vacuuming and mopping floors)
- Maintaining all office areas in a clean and orderly fashion
- Managing online booking system for practitioners
- Following all infection control practices
Secondary roles include (but are not limited to):
- conducting bookings online
- pricing and selling products
- insurance submissions
- training and willingness to take on small projects
This role is for a professional wellness clinic comprised of registered massage therapists, chiropractors, and acupuncturists. Experience directly serving customers in retail or service industries is mandatory.
Characteristics include but are not limited to:

- Willing participant in customer interactions beyond business needs (this includes basic social skills)
- Ability to learn on the job
Skill set must include:
- proficiency using computers
- typing proficiency of approximately 40 WPM
- familiarity with online navigation
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written
Training and policies will be provided for all duties.
