The Credit Analyst will be responsible for the full credit analyst for the branch and support the Relationship Management with the review, analysis and renewal process in alignment with the regulatory requirements.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Complete full credit analysis for new deals, both retail (residential) and commercial loans
- Support and participate with Commercial Relationship Manager (CRM) with client interviews
- Complete annual renewals and annual (file) review process
- Participate in site visits and prepare site visit report
- Adhere to control standards, identify and manage the risks associated with the customer relationship, including credit risk, operational risk and financial crime (Fraud and Anti-Money Laundering) risk
- Follow up customer inquiries and questions
- Control loan draw down and funding request to Branches
- Security check on the Bank’s system and Solicitor’s final report
- Support CRM in other duties, as required
- Contribute to a positive work environment
- Actively participate in team meetings and coaching process
- Additional duties as deemed necessary

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years of experience working in financial services or a related field and in which 3+ years of experience in mortgage/lending and/or sales is preferred
- Strong knowledge of bank products and services - credit and commercial lending techniques and procedures
- Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills - ability to work as part of a team, and individually
- Sound knowledge of financial analysis, risk evaluation, loan documentation and commercial loan structures
- Experience analyzing and structuring commercial credit
- Ability to generate new business, identify business opportunities - grow and maintain existing client relationships
