The Credit & Collection Analyst, reporting to the Director of Credit, will work in close collaboration with the group Credit team. **Key Deliverables** - Maintain and update approved credit limit and terms in ERP. - Create new customer accounts in ERP. - Cash Application of various payment types from numerous divisions. - Download of daily payment files. - Daily monitoring of payment portal and ERP balancing. - Payment portal reporting. - Monthly reporting of credit and collection results. - Quarterly insurance reporting. - Reporting of sales tax compliance, obtain and update sales tax exemption certificates as required. - Monthly reporting of AR aging results. - Processing credit card transactions. - Ability to make credit release decisions within the criteria of the credit policy. - Assist Credit team as needed. - All other tasks and duties as assigned. **Qualifications** - 3-5 years’ experience with trade credit in business-to-business environment. - Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. - Credit Designation or working towards designation is an asset. - Strong problem-solving skills with a proven record of initiative. - Advanced Excel, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, comfortable with large data files. - Ability to prioritize and work to meet deadlines. - Proven organizational/negotiation/communication skills. - Self-motivated and results oriented individual. - Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment. - A team player with good listening and customer service skills.
