Playground is currently seeking a fluently bilingual, experienced and well-organized **_Social Media Coordinator _**to join our dynamic and growing marketing team (on-site). Reporting to the Marketing Manager, he/she will have strong communication, design and photography skills.

With the continued support of poker players from all over the world, Playground continues to expand and further develop our service offerings for our valued guests. Conveniently located just 15 minutes south of downtown Montreal in the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake, the complex currently offers over 40 poker tables and a selection of over 500 Electronic Gaming Devices (slots). In addition, Playground includes an inviting and locally renowned restaurant The Rail Coal Fire Bistro and is in the midst of an exciting expansion project that will include expanding the gaming floors, a stunning hotel and additional contemporary food and beverage outlets
**_Schedule: Monday to Friday (standard office hours) **will also require availability evenings and weekends for events**_**
**Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following**:

- Engage and grow the digital fan base by posting daily, monitoring messages, comments, tagged content and branded hashtags on all social media platforms including; Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
- Assist the Marketing Manager with various projects including in-house content creation, copywriting, and administration of user-generated content in both English and French.
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging & creative content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news).
- Respond to comments, messages, and general inquiries on social media platforms promptly and seek guidance when necessary on sensitive issues.
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
- Creating and designing original and on-brand marketing / promotional materials.
- Fostering a sense of community via outreach and collaboration with creators and local businesses.
- Composing regular blog content aligned with our audience’s interests & SEO.
- Effectively promote Playground marketing initiatives via social media to increase engagement and follower count.
- Update and refine social media strategy to support overall communications strategy.
- Gather and analyze social media platform analytic reports to improve the content plan.
- Responsible for providing professional and exceptional customer service in accordance with established company standards.
- Supporting team on day-to-day needs.
- Present at all major floor events and promotions, and coordinate to get content for any events which you are unable to be present for (includes evenings, weekends and holidays).
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate events outside of office hours.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
- Must be fluent in French and English, both verbally and in the written word.
- Demonstrated proficiency with social media platforms - Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn. Facebook lives, Instagram stories
- Experience using Google Suite
- Docs, Sheets, Slides and Calendar. Experience using Slack is an asset.
- Experience with - SEO, Google ads, Facebook ads
- Strong interest in photography, content creation, at ease speaking with people on the gaming floor in order to take their photos, video content, etc.
- Fluency in French and English is essential (verbal and written) - will be required to interact and communicate with players on the floor - additional languages considered an asset
- Previous marketing work experience with a focus in social media. Gaming experience an asset
