**Position Overview**:
Playground is currently seeking a fluently bilingual, experienced and well-organized S**_ocial Media Coordinator_** to join our dynamic and growing marketing team** (on-site)**. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, he/she will have strong communication, design and photography skills.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (standard office hours) **will also require availability evenings and weekends for events**_

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

- Engage and grow the digital fan base by posting daily, monitoring messages, comments, tagged content and branded hashtags on all social media platforms including; Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
- Assist the Marketing Manager with various projects including in-house content creation, copywriting, and administration of user-generated content in both English and French.
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging & creative content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news).
- Respond to comments, messages, and general inquiries on social media platforms promptly and seek guidance when necessary on sensitive issues.
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
- Creating and designing original and on-brand marketing / promotional materials.
- Fostering a sense of community via outreach and collaboration with creators and local businesses.
- Composing regular blog content aligned with our audience’s interests & SEO.
- Effectively promote Playground marketing initiatives via social media to increase engagement and follower count.
- Update and refine social media strategy to support overall communications strategy.
- Gather and analyze social media platform analytic reports to improve the content plan.
- Responsible for providing professional and exceptional customer service in accordance with established company standards.
- Supporting team on day-to-day needs.
- Present at all major floor events and promotions, and coordinate to get content for any events which you are unable to be present for (includes evenings, weekends and holidays).
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate events outside of office hours.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
- Must be fluent in French and English, both verbally and in the written word.

**Qualifications**:

- Social Media Advertising: Proficiency in executing and managing paid ad campaigns on various social media platforms.
- Strategic Planning: Experience in developing and implementing social media strategies aligned with organizational goals, including mapping out buyer journeys and campaigns.
- Market Research: Understanding of customer profiles and market segmentation to inform content and outreach strategies.
- Influencer and Affiliate Marketing: Knowledge of how to leverage influencer and affiliate marketing for brand promotion.
- Partnerships: Comfortable with outreach and development of partnerships for collaborative campaigns.
- Social Media Platform Expertise: Familiarity with the strengths, weaknesses, demographics, and best practices of platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and TikTok.
- Customer Service: Ability to professionally and efficiently handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback on social media platforms.
- Trend Awareness: Stay updated on the latest social media trends and popular culture to create relevant and engaging content.
- Crisis Management: Preparedness to effectively handle social media crises, negative publicity, or viral customer complaints.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social), basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva), and project management (e.g., Wrike).
- Branding Knowledge: Maintain a consistent brand voice and image across all social media platforms.
- Time Management: Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple platforms and campaigns.
- Proficiency with Key Social Media Platforms: Demonstrated experience with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook Live, and Instagram Stories.
- Google Suite Familiarity: Experience using Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Calendar, with knowledge of Slack as an asset.
- Advertising Experience: Familiarity with SEO, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads.
- Passion for Photography and Content Creation: Comfortable with
