Hamilton Volvo is seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a receptionist and administrative assistant. This position is responsible for the professional and efficient managing of visitors, phone calls/messages, and other administrative work as required.

**Responsibilities**
- Answer and distribute phone calls among sales, service and parts.
- Stock in new vehicles that arrived for inventory
- Stock in Certified Pre Owned vehicles that arrived for inventory
- Complete licensing in an an efficient manner for Certified Pre Owned and new car deliveries.
- Receipt cheques and deposits for salespeople
- Track a daily call log
- Assist executive assistant in any related accounting tasks
- Manage a daily cash report

**Requirements**:

- 1+ year of receptionist/administrative assistant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft office
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Knowledge and experience of basic accounting functions such as journal entries and postings
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, written, and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
