How will I make an impact?
As the Content Marketing Specialist, reporting to the Director of Marketing, your primary focus will be on creating compelling B2B content in a variety of formats that support marketing programs, campaigns, and can be used by our sales team to engage with prospects. Your work will have a direct influence on the perception of Shinydocs by our target market and you will be a key resource and important collaborator as part of our growing marketing team. In this role, you will have ample opportunity to propose innovative ideas and strategies and be given the opportunity and resources to run with them.
Within your first 30 days, you will get to know your new teammates as well as gain an understanding of our products, industry, and our target market. You will also begin creating and executing against a content calendar and supporting the marketing and sales teams with relevant content.
Day in the Life:
**Content Ideation -** Meet with product marketing, marketing services, sales reps, customer success reps, and other customer-facing individuals to intake content requests and discuss market trends, persona observations, and other topic and goal inputs. Use website analytics and other marketing data to gain insight into the topics and formats that drive engagement and conversion—all with a focus on conceiving and developing topics for your content calendar.
**Content Planning - **Work with your stakeholders and the marketing team to set an editorial calendar that delivers content in time for marketing campaigns and programs, in addition to supporting evergreen communication channels like our blog and the outbound efforts of our sales team.
