Marketing Specialist

**Job purpose/mandate**
Reporting to the Vice-President Sales & Marketing, the Marketing Specialist will spearhead marketing campaigns and test innovative ideas for our various HVAC business markets including RNC (Residential New Construction), retail, commercial, Electric Vehicle Charging Stations, and MURBS (Multi Unit Residential Buildings) and bring them to life. In addition, this role oversees and the design, layout, and production of marketing collateral, meeting interim project timelines and hard production deadlines, maintaining brand guidelines and meeting the marketing goals and objectives, including work quality and impact. The Marketing Specialist will be a key point of contact for specific Vista Services dealers and channel partners. The Marketing Specialist will be located in the GTA, this is a remote role.
**Specific duties and responsibilities**
- Create an internal network and research available materials to gain knowledge and become an expert on our business and our industry and our competitive advantage;
- Design collateral materials (brochures, event signage, banners) as required;
- Utilize your Marketing expertise and take a design centric approach to develop and communicate marketing campaigns, project recommendations and supporting materials that are appropriate for and meet or exceed the needs of the business.
- Supporting materials include, but are not limited to things like customer communications, supporting promotional materials and briefings and handouts
- Design and prepare additional marketing materials in a timely manner as required to support ad hoc marketing activities that may be required from time to time;
- This includes creating engaging and effective copy material to be used in the campaign;
- Boost, track and analyze digital content to ensure key messages are being delivered to the right audience;
- Drive lead generation through social and digital strategy, creating exciting and captivating content to boost our “find a dealer” portal;
- Foster links with existing partners and dealers to plan and implement creative SEO activities as well as remarketing, search, social & display advertising campaigns (including joint promotions with dealers, suppliers & manufacturers);
- Optimize paid digital marketing portfolio, including analysis of key performance indicators including return on marketing investment, incremental sales, purchase funnel and funnel conversion rate, customer acquisition cost, etc.;
- Maintain and update our digital footprint to ensure total accuracy and compliance; and
- Prepare monthly reports for online sales, data analytics and campaign analysis.
- Provide functional supervision to third-party graphic designers, agency partners and freelancers in day-to-day design of marketing materials;
- Liaise with external vendors (printers) to ensure proper files are delivered for production/printing purposes;
- Design and execute social media graphics and content (paid and organic);
- Maintain an up-to-date electronic archive collection of photographs and videos;
- Develop, produce, and update various internal and external corporate forms, schedules, manuals, presentations and templates as needed;
- Follow and maintain brand guidelines to ensure brand standard are met across all materials;
- Contribute to the development of strategic marketing plans;
- Develop and provide regular marketing analytical reporting;
**Knowledge and skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field;
- Post-secondary certification in the related discipline (Digital Marketing or social media) or equivalent experience;
- A minimum of two years of related experience in a similar role with tangible results in building a stable online presence in the marketplace;
- Knowledge of and experience with SEO best practices.
- Knowledge of and experience with design software (Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop) preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with social media and digital platforms such as Google, LinkedIn, and Meta
- Knowledge of and experience with User Experience & Design best practices are considered a strong asset;
- Excellent writing and editing skills;
- Experience developing and growing an online presence across multiple disciplines with a significant and ever-evolving range is essential;
- Experience creating campaigns for search and social advertising;
- Experience with analytics; and
- A keen eye for layout, familiarity with working within branding guidelines and a curiosity for emerging industry trends.
