**Responsibilities**:
PRIMARY PURPOSE

The Human Resources Coordinator takes on a diverse array of administrative responsibilities, while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. The Human Resources Coordinator supports HR teams on daily activities, programs, projects and initiatives. Responds to inquiries and research information.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Performs a variety of daily clerical and administrative activities specific to human resources function, including preparing presentations, reports, drafting correspondence, etc.

Provides support with gathering data from different internal and/or external sources, and preparation of periodic standardized reports. In collaboration with leadership, coordinates the implementation of approved recommendations resulting from research, best practice, and evaluation.

Assists with the coordination and administration of TransLink’s HR policies. Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and is responsible for providing information in the assigned areas.

Maintains files and records of a confidential nature and ensure the accuracy and completeness of the documents and files.

Provides support to the Human Resources team in the development and execution of projects and initiatives as requested which may include coordinating materials, organizing meetings, and assisting with facilitating sessions.

Applies knowledge of organizational policies when responding to queries and seeks clarification and/or guidance as required, ensuring consistency during all interactions.

Performs accurate data entry and work with HR systems when required.

Provides support on special events planning and execution to ensure the successful and timely implementation of the events.

**Qualifications**:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The competencies for the position would typically be acquired through completion of a program in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or other relevant programs, plus a minimum of two (2) years of experience in an HR or Administrative environment.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Solid working knowledge and understanding of human resource concepts, principles, theories and practices.

Basic understanding of employment law in British Columbia is an asset.

Intermediate skills using Microsoft programs including Word, Power Point and Excel
- Experience with Human Resource Information Systems is an asset.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Solid time management skills and demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritize, multi-task, and able to meet multiple deadlines.

Strong organizational and analytical skills, to effectively research, coordinate and, analyze, a variety of information.

Solid problem solving and decision-making skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and accountability to deliver.

Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality is essential to be able to assess requests for private information and to be able to determine when escalation is required.

**Other Information**:
This role will report to the Equity Diversity and Inclusion Director, previouse EDI experience would be considered an asset.

Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

**Work Schedule**:
37.5 hours per week.

**Work Designation**:
Hybrid

This position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely within B.C.

**Rate of Pay**:
Salary $59,965 - $74,957 per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
