Edmonton, Canada mdf commerce Full time

**Location: Alberta-Canada**

**mdf commerce Inc**. is an international team of approximately 650 experts who develop a broad set of SaaS solutions to optimize and accelerate commercial interactions of its B2B and B2G customers.

Working in the GovTech sector for our new brand **SOVRA**, we are currently looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team.

**About SOVRA**

At SOVRA, we are transforming public procurement with innovative, end-to-end solutions that create real opportunities for suppliers while streamlining processes for buyers. As North America’s leading procurement platform, we connect more than 7,000 buying agencies with more than 1,000,000 suppliers through our 360° approach, making procurement more efficient and accessible.

At SOVRA, you will help redefine how governments and businesses work together. You’ll join a collaborative, fast-moving team modernizing public sector procurement through innovation, data, and AI. This is a visible, high-impact role with direct influence on our next phase of growth.

**About the job**

We are looking for a full-stack Growth Marketing Specialist to lead go-to-market efforts and drive performance across high-impact campaigns within SOVRA’s Supplier business. You will collaborate with specialists across digital, design, automation, events, and analytics to deliver full-funnel campaigns that generate engagement and measurable results. This full-time, in-office role is based at our Calgary location and offers a unique dual reporting structure:

- The VP of Marketing provides day-to-day direction, execution oversight, and performance guidance.
- The General Manager of the Supplier Business sets strategic priorities and ensures alignment with commercial objectives.

This structure offers both strategic visibility and hands-on mentorship.

**What will your main responsibilities look like?**
- Own and execute go-to-market plans for new initiatives.
- Support field marketing and event presence, including strategy, logistics, and promotion.
- Create and adapt content—web copy, blog posts, landing pages, case studies, and sales enablement assets.
- Use AI tools to boost content production, campaign targeting, and workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams.
- Monitor performance data and optimize campaigns based on key metrics.
- Contribute to overall brand consistency across Supplier programs.

**What elements of your professional background will be necessary and helpful in this role?**
- 4+ years of experience in full-stack or integrated marketing (preferably SaaS or GovTech).
- Strong writing and messaging skills with attention to tone, clarity, and consistency.
- Passion for AI and experience (or curiosity) using AI tools in a marketing context.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to make decisions based on campaign performance.
- **Required: Authorized to work in Canada - unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor work visas or transfers at this time.**

**What are the assets that would make you stand out?**
- Experience in marketing to public sector audiences.
- Bilingual in English and French
