The Oshawa Clinic Group provides comprehensive health care to patients in Durham Region.

**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the CEO, the Human Resources Manager will lead the HR department in shaping the culture and performance of Canada’s largest multi-specialty medical group. You will oversee HR programs in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance, contributing to the clinic’s strategic objectives and operational excellence. With over 150+ doctors and 360 employees, this role plays a key part in enhancing our clinic's growth, staff retention, and quality of care. We are seeking an HR leader with a passion for innovation and a commitment to fostering a positive, compliant, and productive work environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Employee Relations & Performance Management**:

- Coaching and mentoring management
- Supporting performance reviews and addressing issues
- Overseeing disciplinary actions and investigations
- **Recruitment & Talent Management**:

- Developing talent pipelines and innovative hiring practices
- Facilitating the recruitment process and onboarding
- Leading succession planning and employee retention efforts
- **Compliance & Organizational Health**:

- Ensuring legislative compliance (labor laws, health and safety)
- Managing attendance, disability, and benefits programs
- Addressing organizational morale and turnover
- **Strategic HR Initiatives**:

- Developing employee engagement strategies
- Leading organizational change efforts
- Building partnerships across business units and with external partners


**Skills and Knowledge**:

- Extensive working knowledge of relevant legislations to ensure compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think, plan, act and execute strategically.
- Strong communication skills oral and written.
- Ability to create and build strong working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Self-directed and works well in a team environment.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask, prioritize and successfully complete projects with conflicting deadlines and urgency.
- Responds calmly and with confidence under pressure.
- Flexible, results oriented and able to deliver within timelines.
- Experience managing business units of 300 employees or greater.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office

**Experience**:

- Post-secondary education (diploma/degree) in Human Resources
- Successful completion of the Certified Human Resources Professional or Leader (CHRP/CHRL) designation
- 5+ years of progressive work experience in Human Resources management
- Experience in a Health Care environment is an asset

Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
