- Package baked goods for display or sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and service during peak hours.
- Maintain inventory of baking supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items that align with seasonal trends and customer preferences.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen area, including equipment maintenance and organization.
**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices, including proper food handling techniques.
- Proficiency in baking methods, cake decorating, and pastry preparation is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
- A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to learn new skills in the kitchen is highly valued.
Pay: $17.38-$24.53 per hour
