**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Customer Support**:
- Provide accurate and timely information regarding propane services, billing, and delivery schedules.
- Resolve customer issues or complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
- Handle requests for propane deliveries, tank refills, and equipment maintenance.
- ** Order Management and Customer Invoicing**
- Process customer orders and ensure correct details are entered into the system.
- Follow up on customer delivery inquiries
- Maintain and update customer records and service histories.
- ** Customer Payments**:
- Assist customers with billing inquiries, including reviewing invoices and charges.
- Process payments, including credit card and electronic payments, and ensure timely invoicing.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to address payment discrepancies.
- ** Administrative Tasks**:
- Maintain customer files and documents in a well-organized manner.
- Assist with inventory management for propane inventory, tanks and related equipment.
- Coordinate with other departments (logistics, sales, etc.) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- ** Compliance and Safety**:
- Ensure that customer interactions and records comply with safety and regulatory standards.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and propane safety standards.
**Qualifications**:
- ** Education**: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred).
- ** Experience**: 2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in a propane, energy, or distribution-related field.
- ** Skills**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer management software (CRM).
- Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts professionally.
- Knowledge of propane products and safety standards is a plus.
- ** Physical Requirements**: Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods and occasionally lift items up to 25 lbs.
