**ABOUT US**

Since 1978 Air Inuit has been providing scheduled, charter, cargo, and emergency air transportation services in Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Collectively owned by the Inuit of Nunavik, through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of over 35 aircraft ranging from a Twin Otter 300 Series to a Boeing 737 200C, 300 and 800 and employs over 1000 employees in one of the most challenging flight environments.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Carry out all necessary functions pertaining to supervision and coordination of the Ticket Counter;
- Ensure that employees follow company’s policies and applicable regulations for the security and to comply with transportation regulations;
- Assure staff is trained and mentored;
- Respond to escalated customer inquiries;
- Coordinate with other departments;
- All other duties deemed necessary by the company in order to ensure the effectiveness of the operation.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience;
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the airline industry in a similar position;
- Basic knowledge of Office software such as Word, Excel, Outlook;
- One year experience with the passenger check-in programs;
- Bilingual (English/Inuktituk) or (French/Inuktituk) or (French/English);
- Good communication skills both speaking and in writing;
- The capacity to offer an excellent customer service;
- Punctual and reliable;
- Available to travel occasionally for training;
- Available to work evenings, nights and weekends;
- If the position is filled locally, the work location will be Puvirnituq;

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Rotational position - 2 weeks of work followed by 2 weeks OFF.
- if the position is not filled locally - Air transportation from Montreal, Room & Board is included.

**COMPENSATION**
- Compensation and benefits are determined in accordance with corporate policy
