Accounting Analyst

We are currently seeking to fill a **permanent full-time position** for an **Accounting Analyst** at our **Ville St-Laurent** office.
Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting and Internal Controls, the Accounting Analyst will play a key role in the production and analysis of financial statements for various off-system entities within the group. This position presents an excellent opportunity to actively contribute to process improvements while strengthening your accounting expertise.
**More specifically, the main responsibilities of the Accounting Analyst include**:
- Preparing, analyzing, and validating monthly financial statements for assigned entities.
- Performing variance analyses between actual results and budgets, and providing clear and relevant explanations for significant differences.
- Collaborating on optimization projects for off-system entities.
- Providing accounting support for special projects such as acquisitions and integrations.
- Performing and validating monthly and quarterly financial analyses.
- Participating in internal control testing related to operational processes, in accordance with the requirements of Bill 52-109 for public companies.
- Assisting with external audits by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor requests.
- Has a strong understanding of the full accounting cycle.
- Demonstrates advanced analytical skills to interpret financial data.
- Is highly organized and skilled in managing priorities.
- Possesses strong communication abilities.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 3 to 5 years of professional accounting experience, part of which was in a structured environment, ideally in the public sector.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken.
