**The Opportunity**:
PFX’s solutions include coolants/antifreeze, thermal fluids for electric vehicles, performance fluids, diesel exhaust fluids, windshield washer fluids, automotive care products, rust inhibitors, household solvents, and winterizing solutions.
We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our General Accounting team.
Reporting to Accounting Manager, the Accounting Analyst joining us should be curious and autonomous. PFX offers an ideal environment to contribute to the company’s growth. Formerly a family-owned business, we are currently building a solid foundation for the future with rigorous processes and the implementation of analyses and controls to ensure that results reflect monthly activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze financial statements and produce ad hoc reports
- Provide solutions to accounting issues as they arise
- Develop and refine techniques that support reporting standards and controls
- Prepare and upload monthly journal entries
- Actively participate in month-end tasks and analyses (month-over-month or year-over-year)
- Implement processes and work tools
- Contribute to process improvement and control
- Collaborate with other departments
- Participate in special projects (e.g., entity implementation)
- Investigate and provide feedback on accounting irregularities
- Perform other related tasks

**Required Qualifications**:

- CPA designation
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with IFRS standards
- Accounting designation is an asset
- Curious and resourceful
- Experience using accounting systems
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Bilingual (French/English)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
