**Administrative Assistant, Accounting**

**Experience**

  • Administrative/Office experience,
  • General accounting knowledge (AP/AR/GL),
  • Experience with shipping and receiving,
  • Inventory control,
  • Customer service.

**Education**

  • High School Diploma
  • Vocational/College diploma in Office Administration or a related field

Roles and Responsibilities

**Accounts Receivable Duties**

  • Collections
  • Review and mail statements
  • EFT’s on Moneris days (if required)
  • Cheques
  • POS machine
  • Update accounts (addresses, etc )

**Purchasing**

  • Verify pricing, update as required
  • Back up entering p.o.’s
  • Follow up on old p.o.’s (confirmations and nudge vendors)

**Accounts Payable**

  • Printing and matching
  • Filing afterwards

**General Ledger**

  • Reconcile Visa
  • Inventory adjustment

**Miscellaneous**

  • Shipping and receiving
  • Other duties as assigned
