**Role**:
The Maintenance Coordinator (summer student) will support the execution of all Operations facility maintenance objectives. The Maintenance Coordinator will assist in the selection and review of vendors and contractors (Budget, Safety, and Service) and will be responsible for maintaining equipment accurate input of maintenance records and repairs into the CMMS (computerized maintenance management system), eRSM (electronic refrigeration Safety Management), answering calls from Supervisors and other associates regarding breakdowns, service requests for facility, Operations equipment, and other maintenance related duties.
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Landscaping includes but not limited to mowing, watering, weeding, etc.
- General cleaning of the facilities and vehicles.
- General facility maintenance.
- Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
- Is willing to work safely with mínimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
- Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you)**:
- Be enrolled in a full-time program of study (High School or Post-Secondary).
- Ability to work independently.**_
