Position Description:
**Responsibilities**:

- Manage landscape maintenance staff (full-time, hourly, and seasonal) to ensure the proper, efficient and timely completion of department responsibilities. Including maintenance team leads and labourers, water team, & pesticide spray teams.
- Work in the field and in the office, providing hands-on completion of work as a mentor and an example for the rest of the team. -Daily inspection of sites to ensure overall presentation of the landscape meets TM Corps standards and quality expectations.
- Assist in preparation of work schedules and job assignments & coordinate implementation of job assignments with the maintenance team.
- Be responsible for the health of the landscape.
- Examine potential unsafe working conditions and advise corrective action.
- Identify staff training needs and assist with development of training programs, including plant care and maintenance, proper use of tools and equipment, safety, etc. Takla Maintenance Corp.
- Conduct safety talks, toolbox meetings, and participate in safety meetings.
- As a manager, attend meetings as necessary, including but not limited to managers’ meetings, site specific meetings, client reviews, and City of Edmonton inspections.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and details.
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the project team.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- related work and supervision: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Degree in horticulture, floriculture, landscape (required)
- Required to hold a valid Certified Pesticide license (required)
- Required to be First Aid Certified. (required)
- Required to hold a valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Edmonton, AB: Relocate before starting work (required)
