PavCo is hiring a Technology Specialist within audio/visual and digital industry who will be the IPTV and Digital Signage expert and will support the day-to-day management of digital signs and displays throughout BC Place Stadium. The role assists with programming, content editing, deployment, and ensure functionality and operation of all digital media players, including TVs and digital LED site signage.
This is not an IT position.
Technology Specialists and the systems they manage are central to creating one of the best entertainment and informative experiences at BC Place Stadium.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- To enhance the Digital Signage at BC Place to deliver a best-in-class digital fan/audience experience.
- The Technology Specialists will support multiple departments at BCP, including Business Development, Global Partnerships, Events, Marketing, and the F&B departments to deliver on client needs.
- Administration and management of all digital signage screens connected to the network.
- Create and program scripts, triggers, and dashboards for system operations, with a focus on the IPTV and digital menu display systems (Triple Play).
- Bolster customer/guest experience by implementing solutions that will help clients achieve their digital signage objectives.
- Perform event/gameday setup and verification of content.
- Handle content scheduling and playlist management.
- Manage digital signage requests, changes, and updates.
- Publish and monitor media content across various sites.
- Install digital signage equipment.
- Track hardware operating conditions and system issues.
- Provide prompt service, troubleshooting and maintenance of the systems.
- Assign and control user privileges.
- Provide event day support, reporting and follow up.
- Stay up to date with new software features & version updates.
- Implement best practices in digital signage to improve user, client, and guest experience.

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING**:

- Completion of a 2-year College Diploma plus additional certification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Graphic Design, or a related area of study is required 4+ years of live sports and entertainment arena or stadium experience in a similar role

- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Able to work effectively in a team (both with internal and external stakeholders)
- Be able to read and understand technical materials/manuals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); and ability to learn required business systems
- Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

The salary range for this position is $ 65,032 - $81,290.
- Salary discussion and overall compensation package will be presented during initial phone interviews.
