**MININGSKY**: MiningSky Technology Ltd. (MiningSky) is a Canadian firm based out of Vancouver, British Columbia. MiningSky provides power and energy solutions for crypto mining farms. The company specializes in power consumption optimization, mining farm construction, all-inclusive miner hosting, and colocation services. Additionally, MiningSky pursues self-mining in North America. Our team consists of partners with decades of experience in corporate finance, business development, marketing, and technology. **THE OPPORTUNITY** As a project specialist at MiningSky, you will provide support for project planning and implementation, and coordinate day-to-day work. You can work in several project teams at the same time or be the project manager for a small project or a part of a larger project. Your main responsibility will be to focus on project management details and follow-up actions to maximize project results. **WHAT YOU"LL DO** - Under supervision, manage a number of projects or assigned major project components - Create and maintain project plans and schedules, including working with PM/PD to identify tasks, due dates, and milestones - Assist in the execution of relevant contracts and data use agreements by outlining and drafting scopes of work or reviewing relevant documents for previous project timeframes - Create and maintain project calendars and assist in scheduling all project related meetings and communications - Regularly engage with project workgroup members to ensure coordination and communication of project goals, strategies, timelines and tasks - Participate in the development of agendas for project specific meetings of external working groups and internal project teams; prepare meeting materials and document meeting minutes and team progress - Create and maintain project documentation, including all relevant design documents, processes, reports to funders, project descriptions, etc. - Deals with clients and others, responding independently in most cases, but also knowing how to find answers from other staff and provide timely feedback to clients when necessary. - Produce draft project-based materials for the Board as directed - Assist with data analysis and reporting functions for projects, as appropriate and needed, under the direction of the Senior Project Manager **WHAT YOU NEED** - Strong quantitative and analytic skills and aptitude - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to create and manage budgets - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, proven ability to organize complex processes - Involving multiple, detailed tasks and multiple inputs - Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, meet deadlines and manage to schedule - Working knowledge of quality improvement methods and concepts - Ability to use basic project planning skills - A degree in business management, project management, or a related field - Prior experience as a project specialist, project manager, or a similar position **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Dental care - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday COVID-19 considerations: All staff are required to wear a mask, workplace areas are sanitized frequently **Experience**: - administrative assistant: 3 years (preferred)
