As our Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in keeping our financial records immaculate and up-to-date. You will handle everything from daily record-keeping to preparing for year-end financial statements. If you're proficient in Sage 50 or Quick Books, and have a knack for numbers, we would love to meet you

**Responsibilities: Accounting**
- Manage and organize all daily recordkeeping using Sage 50, (or Quick Books) including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll.
- Conduct thorough research on account transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of all credit card and bank statements.
- Allocate revenue and expenses accurately.
- Prepare and remit GST, PST, and payroll.
- Process Records of Employment (ROEs) and T4s.
- Assist in year-end preparation for financial statements.

**Responsibilities Office Coordinator**
- Office Management, order supplies etc
- Support HR functions, Including employee onboarding and maintaining employee records.
- Coordinating staff schedules or assist with shift management during peak season
- Track employee certifications and ensure safety standards are met.
- Managing group bookings.
- Assist with adherence to all required licenses and permits.
- Manage POS systems (Square) and troubleshoot minor issues
- Coordinate with IT support for website updates or technical problems

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in accounting with a strong understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
- Experience with Sage 50 (or Quickbooks) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Familiarity with Google Workspace.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Independent and self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- St. Germain South, MB R5A 1G1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
