Job Mission
This position contributes to the company’s success by serving as the Plant’s Financial Analyst performing analytics on operational performance to facilitate decision making to drive the financial and operational success of the organization.

**Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions**:

- Analyze production runs for substitution and quantity variances.
- Analyze production yield loss and scrap and prepare waste reporting.
- Provide statistical and financial reporting regarding Plant’s operational results that is timely and accurate.
- Understand Post Production role to collaborate and explain causes of waste to management team.
- Update and analyze non-labor plant expenses and review with plant department managers and ensure adherence to budget.
- Prepare month end close analytics, corresponding journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Participate in standardizing operational metrics across plants.
- Assist in monthly forecast and annual budget preparation.
- Track capital spend against active projects and update reporting.
- Support cross-site analytics as required.
- Conduct cycle counts as required for maintenance spare parts.
- Assist in Year End Audit and Close Activities.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Accounting or Finance degree required.
- CMA/CPA or prior food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Entry level position with 1 to 3 years of related work experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and analyze data in a fast-paced and results driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
