**The Position**:
We’re on the hunt for a Financial Analyst - Financial Reporting on our corporate finance team at our Brampton office.
You will get unique industry experience in a public space company where you will be able to work on interesting and complex projects. You will get to work with a small team, which will give you the opportunity to see and learn more, get exposure to senior levels of management, as well as interact with multiple people and teams across the globe.
**Responsibilities**:
- Works closely with corporate finance and shared services functions in the monthly close of financial reporting process and consolidation
- Prepares monthly and quarterly adjusting entries, reconciliations and continuity schedules in accordance with IFRS
- Analyzes data, conducts variance and trend analyses and reports findings
- Prepares audit schedules and liaise with external/internal auditors
- Assists on ad hoc projects as required
**Job Requirements**:
- Post secondary degree, and has or is currently working towards the CPA designation
- At least three years of accumulated experience in relevant accounting disciplines, ideally with experience from public practice accounting firms
- Strong time management skills and communication skills
- High level of professionalism and initiative
- Aptitude for identifying, reviewing and evaluating and analyzing complex information relevant to real business analysis and decision needs
- Highly skilled with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision
