**The Position**

We are seeking a professional to join us in an exciting role that provides exposure to a wide range of MDA Financial & Operational activities. The Jr. Financial Analyst will join our Robotics &Space Operations team at our Brampton office.

The Jr. Financial Analyst will assists in the preparation and consolidation of timely and accurate monthly forecasts, budgets and strategic plan, preparation of monthly schedules for corporate package, calculation of SRED (forecast and claim) as well as monthly reconciliations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepares monthly cash flow forecast (Divisional and Major Programs), Executive summary and Working Capital reports.
- Prepares yearly budget
- including Balance Sheet, Cash flow and Capital Expenditures.
- Prepares Annual Rate Package.
- Performs capital planning management and monthly forecasting/monitoring.
- Prepares monthly Business Analysis Reports.
- Supports SOX compliance audit.
- Support accounting functions as needed.
- Performs ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling as required.
- Customer invoice reviews.

**Qualifications/ Requirements**:

- 1-2 years of related experience
- Post secondary degree, enrolled in professional accounting designation (CPA)
- Initiative, willingness to learn and good business acumen are essential
- Ability to think logically, analytically, and solve problems.
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision and under pressure.
- High level of professionalism, initiative, and creativity
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision
- Strong time management skills and communication skills
